The first Chamber of
Commerce and Industry in Nablus was registered and setup in
1943, in accordance with the Othman Law
of societies, to protect the interests of the commercial
private sector during the second world war.
The present chamber was established in 1953 under
the Jordanian Law of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and relating regulations.
According to this law the chamber is governed by an elected council of twelve
members with a mandate of four years. |
